- Quizzer v.1.1
- (c) 1992, Karim Khan
-
- Quizzer doesn't need much documentation. Its purpose is to take a list of
- words and their definitions and quiz the user by presenting in a random order
- a definition. The user must then input the correctly spelled word.
-
- When you run it, you must first create a quiz by selecting 'C' from the main
- menu. You will then input each word and its definition. When you are done,
- press return on a blank line and you will be prompted for a filename. ENTER
- ONLY THE FILENAME, NO EXTENSION. This is not to scare you (the program won't
- crash), but you may lose all of your inputted data (or end up with a strange
- filename). Then you may enter a short comment for future reference. You
- can later access this file by pressing 'O' from the main menu.
-
- Press 'Q' from the main menu to take a quiz. The definitions are presented in
- a random order. If the user spells a word incorrectly it will be counted as an
- incorrect answer and will be repeated at another time during the quiz. The
- final score is displayed at the end of the quiz.
-
- This program doesn't have many frills, it is just meant for those who want to
- quiz themselves but do not want to spend time programming a quizzer by
- themselves. NOTE: If you make a mistake while inputting data, enter the
- correct word or definition again and proceed. Then use a text editor like
- the MS-DOS 5.0 editor to edit out the incorrect word or definition. The
- correct format is very apparent once you take a look at it.
-
- NOTE: New to version 1.1, called quizzer2.exe, the ability to use accents for
- quizzing on foriegn languages, especially French. Try pressing the function
- keys when entering a list or being quizzed to see what I've put in.

- I would appreciate any financial gifts from people, especially educators who
- might implement this program into their class. A donation of about $1.00
- would be appreciated.
